SPJ-Madison congratulates finalists in SPJ Mark of Excellence Awards

SPJ-Madison Pro Chapter along with The Society of Professional Journalists are pleased to recognize the winners and finalists in the 2011 Mark of Excellence Awards. There were four finalists for the award that honors the best student journalism. Awards go to print, radio, television and online collegiate journalism.

Among the finalists are UW-Madison for Best Student Magazine “Curb magazine”, UW-Milwaukee for best breaking news reporter – Newspaper and UW-Milwaukee for best television in-depth reporting and newscast.
