Join Madison area journalists and public relations professionals to share story ideas and get the scoop on what is happening in and around Madison.
This event is sponsored by Wisconsin Newspaper Association’s Wisconsin News Tracker.
MADISON – The Madison Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and the Madison Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will hold a joint event bringing together journalists and PR professionals for casual conversation and an exchange of ideas. The second annual “Madison Media Mixer” will be at Vintage Brewing Co., 674 South Whitney Way in Madison, Oct. 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Madison Media Mixer will start with a “speed networking” activity, allowing journalists and public relations professionals to quickly meet their counterparts and foster later discussions. A social hour will follow.
The Wisconsin Newspaper Association’s Wisconsin News Tracker is the event sponsor. Attendees can enter a drawing to win free Wisconsin News Tracker trials. Appetizers will be provided thanks to the generous support of the sponsor.
Membership in SPJ or PRSA is not necessary to attend. Your RSVP is appreciated.
