Capitol Chaos – Gov. Scott Walker, public employee unions and Wisconsin’s political future
Capitol Square
All area journalists are invited to our March 10 social for discussion of Gov. Scott Walker’s proposal affecting public employee unions and the protests and legislative chaos it spawned. Scot Ross, executive director of the liberal group One Wisconsin Now, and Christian Schneider, senior fellow at the conservative Wisconsin Policy Research Institute, will discuss the issue and the ensuing media coverage. They will also answer questions. The event will be held at Brocach’s on Capitol Square, 7 West Main St., at 7:30 p.m. We’ll use one of the upstairs rooms. There will be a cash bar. Appetizers will be served. It’s been an extraordinary three weeks in Madison. Come listen to Scot and Christian offer their perspectives on what has transpired and take a break from your newsroom’s wall-to-wall coverage of the governor, the protests and the budget.
